The journey for Keith Hargreaves, NFPB member from Lancashire Central and North AM, began last September when he was joined by two others in running in the Salford 10K run to raise awareness of and funds for NFPB. In his 67th year,
Keith is at it again and this coming Saturday (12th July) will be running a further 10km in the We Love Manchester run.
Then, all being well, in late September will be racing at Aintree, on his own two feet rather than riding a horse. He managed the distance in 62 minutes last year and is determined to get in under 60 minutes in one or both of the forthcoming runs.
He’ll be proudly sporting a shirt with NFPB’s logo and would welcome any support, either direct to NFPB (see the support us page ) or via our MyCharity * page. We certainly appreciate the support and wish Keith well for his forthcoming exertions!
*NB: MyCharity tells you of the small admin charges involved – other better-known fundraising sites also charge but don’t make it so obvious that they’re doing so.
Postscript: Keith completed the run in Manchester in under 60 minutes as planned. Well done Keith!
